Land & Indigenous Peoples Acknowledgment
Sole2Soul Adventures events are located on the unceded ancestral lands of dxwləšúcid or txwəlšucid (Lushootseed) and sdukʷalbixʷ (Snoqualmie) in Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla (Mount Si/North Bend areas). We honor with gratitude the land itself, and all of its ancestors and tenders: past, present, and emerging. This land acknowledgement is only a small part of how we can support Indigenous communities. Sole2Soul Adventures stands in solidarity with Native American nations by, in this small way, honoring the history of this place, those who lived on and tended the land - both two-legged, four-legged, finned, feathered, and beyond. We know it is not enough and we cannot change what has been done. But honoring them is a start. Perhaps, if you’re still reading this, take a moment to acknowledge the history - and the people and other inhabitants - of whatever land you are standing on.
